The FDA announced Friday that Nestle is recalling Nesquik Strawberry Powder because 21.8-ounce containers may contain small fragments of aluminum.
The recall applies to containers stamped with the production codes 82255880 and 82265880 on the bottom of the containers, which have a "best by date" of August 2010.
The products, produced Aug. 12 and 13, were distributed to the United States and Puerto Rico. Consumers can return the container to the store where it was purchased for a refund.
Calls for questions can be directed to the Nestle Consumer Services Center at 888-637-4345. — Staff report
