Sets of wooden toys sold by stores in Vancouver and Sechelt have been ordered recalled by Health Canada.
The wooden toys include pull toys, rattles and trains. The product names include "Bear Rattle," "Pom Pom Train," "Kiddo," "Katerpillar," "Rattleman, "Ma Me Pa," "Turtle Family," "Tuttu Turtle, "Duby and Duba" and "Duby Duck."
The toys, made in India, are painted glossy red, orange, green, brown, yellow or natural wood. The toys contain small parts or can break into small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children, Health Canada said in a press release Friday.
"Consumers should immediately take the wooden toys away from children," the agency said.
The were sold from February through April of this year by Dream Designs Co. Ltd. on Commercial Drive in Vancouver and from Beacon Lane Furnishings & Accents on Beacon Lane in Sechelt.
